2024 Season Review
The 2024 season once again saw the Colonials at the pinnacle of Section XI Division I football. William Floyd finished with an outstanding 10-1 record, going undefeated in regular season division play and capturing the Section XI Division I championship. The Colonials kicked off the year with a thrilling 36-29 victory over rival Longwood in the Parkway Power Bowl, setting the tone for a campaign defined by resilience and big-game performances.
Throughout the regular season, William Floyd’s offense was explosive, posting decisive wins over Lindenhurst (49-14), Sachem North (35-7), and Brentwood (41-0). Their defense was equally formidable, recording multiple shutouts and consistently limiting opponents’ scoring opportunities. In the playoffs, the Colonials continued their dominance, culminating in a hard-fought championship win over Ward Melville at Stony Brook University’s LaValle Stadium. Standout performances from players like quarterback Jaden Lesane, running back Jayden Evans, and linebacker Anthony Bartolomeo anchored the Colonials’ title run.
