Brentwood serves a diverse population of over 60,000 residents and 4,000 students, competing in Section XI Division I. The Indians are known for their athleticism and passionate fan base.

Brentwood High School, located in the heart of Suffolk County, is one of New York State’s largest and most diverse public high schools. With an enrollment of approximately 4,200 students, Brentwood is recognized for its broad academic offerings, vibrant multicultural community, and commitment to preparing all students for college, careers, and lifelong learning.

2024–2025 Academic Year Highlights

The 2024–2025 school year saw Brentwood High School celebrate a record number of AP Scholars and graduates earning New York State Seal of Biliteracy recognition. Students excelled in Science Research, Robotics, and Business competitions, and the school’s award-winning music and arts programs continued to earn county and state honors. The Class of 2025 received acceptances to SUNY, CUNY, and a variety of selective colleges and universities nationwide.
