Huntington serves a vibrant community of around 18,000 residents and 1,400 students, playing in Section XI Division II. The Blue Devils have a proud tradition of athletic and academic success.

Huntington High School, located in the historic village of Huntington on Long Island’s North Shore, is recognized for its tradition of academic excellence, vibrant extracurricular life, and commitment to preparing students for college, careers, and civic engagement. With an enrollment of approximately 1,500 students, Huntington offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes Advanced Placement (AP), honors, dual-enrollment, and career-focused courses, as well as a wide array of enrichment and leadership opportunities.

2024–2025 Academic Year Highlights

The 2024–2025 school year saw Huntington High School celebrate a record number of AP Scholars, National Merit Commended Students, and National Honor Society inductees. Students excelled in Science Research, Mathletes, DECA, and the school’s acclaimed music, theater, and visual arts programs. The Class of 2025 earned acceptances to SUNY, CUNY, and a variety of selective private colleges and universities, with several students receiving scholarships for academics, STEM, and the arts.
